This kitchen was completely reoriented in a remodel designed for a couple of gourmet cooks that wanted space to entertain extended family. The challenge was to create a traditional gourmet kitchen in a 90’s mountain home. Stations were created for breakfast prep (including a built-in Miele espresso machine), a beverage center complete with wine storage and ice maker, and food prep. Painted and glazed cabinetry give a traditional feel. The colorful ogee tile backsplash draws your eye from adjacent dining and living spaces. The custom hood and light fixtures utilize rustic materials in a traditional style in this award-winning Snowmass kitchen.
